Established in 1985, we provide long distance telephone, credit card, online activism, wireless and other services to over 400,000 customers and in the process raise millions of dollars for groups working for peace, equality, human rights, education and the environment. In the 22 years we've been in business, we've generated over $50 million in donations to nonprofit groups.
We are located in San Francisco and currently have a staff of 80. Creative Director
Our Creative Direcor leads and defines the creative vision for Working Assets as our socially responsible brand evolves. Responsibilities include: overseeing the strategic, conceptual and development phases of multi-channel marketing initiatives; understanding and evaluating all tactics used to develop creative deliverables; directing and reviewing creative briefs with project managers to make sure business objectives are met; demonstrating critical thinking and perspective when solving creative issues, and actively growing an expertise in wireless trends. Requires: 10+ years experience in creative strategy and execution with extensive expertise in web/online; broad experience integrating and executing across multiple marketing vehicles (web, email, direct mail, advertising, etc.); thorough understanding of brand positioning, messaging strategy, and strategic design; effective management skills with ability to react to and resolve issues, and strong leadership and presentation skills. We're looking for a senior software engineer with 5+ years of web programming experience in .Net framework with SQL 2005 as back end to join our online team. We're looking for someone who can hang with the NOI crowd, keep up with the Save the Internet campaign, impress Matt Stoller with online bar-fighting skills, out-innovate the Step It Up crowd on global warming organizing, and cut through the hype around mobile phone political applications.
